OVHcloud obtains SecNumCloud qualification for SNC Cloud Platform and expands it across Europe
Roubaix – 1 septembre 2026 – OVHcloud announces that SNC Cloud Platform, its trusted public cloud offering, has obtained SecNumCloud qualification from ANSSI. The qualification comes as requirements for protecting sensitive data are being strengthened in France. OVHcloud is now preparing to roll out the platform across its European regions.
A strengthened regulatory framework
Article 31 of French Law No. 2024-449 and its implementing decree of 14 April 2026 require the use of certified cloud services for sensitive data belonging to the French State and its operators. Security and data control are becoming key decision criteria. These requirements are also gaining ground in regulated sectors, including healthcare, finance, industry and energy, as well as among software vendors working with public administrations.
A third SecNumCloud-qualified offering
With SNC Cloud Platform, OVHcloud has secured its third SecNumCloud qualification, following Bare Metal Pod and VMware on OVHcloud. The Group now covers a broad range of use cases, from the most isolated environments to the most flexible. Billed on a pay-as-you-go basis, the new platform relies on open APIs and open-source standards, facilitating interoperability with existing environments and data reversibility.
Qualified environments expanding across Europe
The Group is rolling out SNC Cloud Platform across its Public Cloud regions in Europe, with Italy, Germany and Poland as the next steps. Each deployment complies with applicable national frameworks.
