[Connected Leaders] OVHcloud represented by Michel Paulin (CEO) at the 2022 European Digital Assembly

The Digital Assembly, an event co-organised by the European Commission and the Council of the European Union (under the French Presidency since January 2022), brings together every year the players in the digital ecosystem who collaborate around their common challenges.

On 21st June 2022, the Digital Assembly hosted Michel PAULIN (CEO of OVHcloud) for a round table entitled “Succeeding in the digital and environmental transition in Europe”. An opportunity for OVHcloud to demonstrate the link between environmental sovereignty and digital sovereignty: With its integrated industrial model, the Group designs and assembles servers in its factories to power its own datacentres. By managing its value chain this way, OVHcloud has more control over its environmental destiny.

Also present around the table were Laure DE LA RAUDIERE (President of the Authority for the Regulation of Electronic Communications and Posts, ARCEP); Petr Ocko (Minister Delegate for Industry and Trade, Czech Republic); Diana Urge-Vorsatz (Professor, Central European University, Vice-Chair of IPCC Working Group III) and Tatsiana Zaretskaya (CEO, Laavatech).
