On September 16th, we held the first edition of the Open Trusted Cloud Event, an event on sovereignty for institutional players and SaaS and PaaS representatives.
The ambition of the Open Trusted Cloud label is to co-build an ecosystem of SaaS and PaaS services, hosted in OVHcloud’s open, reversible and reliable cloud. It offers a common platform for competitive solutions. With the Open Trusted Cloud Event, we went even further: this event was an opportunity for the ecosystem to better integrate sovereignty issues into their development plans, and to identify possible synergies with integrator partners and public authorities. For the occasion, all the players in this sovereign ecosystem were gathered: representatives of the government, ANSSI and SaaS and PaaS solutions.

The agenda of the day highlighted many topics, such as the SecNumCloud qualification and the OVHcloud Marketplace but also testimonials from iconic companies such as Whaller, Tehtris, ForePaaS or the Sopra Steria Group. The day was also marked by statements from Cedric O, Secretary of State for the Digital Transition on the axes of development for the European cloud sector, and Nadi Bou Hanna, DiNum’s Director, on the Trusted Cloud Strategy.
This first edition brought together 100 SaaS and PaaS players on site and several thousand professionals, all connected remotely.
