[Global Scale] OVHcloud wins 'Hosting/Colocation Innovation of the Year' at the DCS Awards 2021 in the UK
The Digitalisation, Cloud and Storage (DCS) Awards took place last night; Thurs 28th October 2021 at the Leonardo Royal Hotel by Tower Bridge, London. The 11th edition of the awards was postponed to ensure it could take place in person after last year’s virtual ceremony due to the pandemic.
The DCS awards are designed to reward the product designers, manufacturers, suppliers and providers operating in data centre arena. The Awards recognise the achievements of the vendors and their business partners alike and this year encompassed a wider range of both facilities and information technology award categories designed to address all of the main areas of the data centre market in Europe.
The Awards’ categories cover both the facilities and IT aspects of the data centre, reflecting the gradual convergence of the two disciplines as a prerequisite for digital transformation. The achievements of vendors, their business partners, staff and customers are the focus of the 32 Awards categories.
Following on from our DCS Awards 2019 win in the ‘Open Source Innovation of the Year’ category for ‘OVH Managed Kubernetes’, this year we were nominated in 2 categories.
Amongst the 300 nominations across the 200 companies that were all voted for by the Digitalisation World readers.
OVHcloud won the Hosting/Colocation Innovation of the Year for our range of Scale and High Grade Bare Metal servers.
In the Data Centre ICT Security Product of the Year category our partnership with Swedish Managed Service Provider Elastisys offering enterprise grade containerisation solutions came runners up.
