OVHcloud joins the list of cloud service providers qualified by the Quebec government
In order to facilitate the digital transition of Quebec's public organizations, OVHcloud has joined the catalog of cloud providers authorized to implement infrastructure-as-a-service, platform-as-a-service and related software-as-a-service solutions. Issued by the Ministry of Cybersecurity and Digital Technology, the qualification is based on IT security and compliance with the government's legal framework. It marks an important step in the digital transformation of Quebec in a trusted ecosystem.
Quebec's public organizations can now benefit from all of OVHcloud's products and services, available locally in the Group’s Canadian data centers. This includes local dedicated infrastructure and software solutions managed by VMware or Nutanix. This expanded portfolio meets the best industry standards in terms of performance and security: OVHcloud guarantees full transparency on data location, operating in total compliance with the most demanding regulatory frameworks in terms of personal data protection (European GDPR, Law 25 in Quebec).
