[Global Scale] OVHcloud wins IT and Cloud Project of the Year in the Platform-as-a-Service category in inaugural Asia Pacific Cloud & Data Center Awards 2021

The inaugural Asia Pacific Cloud & Data Center Awards 2021 took place on Wednesday, 1 December 2021 at the Marina Bay Sands Hotel in Singapore.

With more than 200 nominations competing in multiple categories through a wide representation of companies across the Asia Pacific region, 40 industry experts were involved in the judging process and the most active region was Southeast Asia with all 15 categories being contested.

The awards recognise outstanding IT and cloud projects from PaaS, cybersecurity implementation to managed services and hosting; data centre projects from energy efficient innovation, sustainable design and build to internet exchange expansion and innovation; and outstanding team and individual accolades from technology leaders to data centre operations team.

OVHcloud’s Managed Kubernetes solution has won the IT and Cloud Project of the Year in the PaaS category in both Australasia and Southeast Asia.

The award wins come timely as OVHcloud recently announced its product acceleration by combining its legacy Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) expertise with PaaS solutions; and sharing a platform of open cloud solutions for more standards, openness, and reversibility in the PaaS – all with the aim of supporting companies' digital transformation.
