OVH US , a global hyper-scale cloud provider, today announced the expansion of its presence in Reston, Va. to accommodate the company’s rapid growth in the United States. OVH is further expanding its footprint in the US to better support its burgeoning North American customer base, in addition to pursuing a wide range of growth opportunities in the cloud market. OVH US is dual-headquartered in Vint Hill, Va, the site of the company’s first US-based data center, and Reston, Va. Since its launch in March 2017, the company has brought approximately 30 jobs to the region, with more than 70 additional jobs estimated in the next 12 months. “We’ve grown our team to include some of the brightest minds in the cloud infrastructure industry,” said Russell P. Reeder, President and CEO of OVH US. “There’s a reason that Northern Virigina is deemed the Silicon Valley of the East. There’s an excellent source of talent here and we look forward to continued growth as we disrupt the cloud market through a combination of proven leadership and true technology differentiation.” The new office space in Reston offers 20,000 square feet of work space and is conveniently located within walking distance of the Wiehle-Reston East metro and bus stations.
