Three support levels

IDEATION - OVH gives selected candidates access to its infrastructure for several months so that they can set up their own Public Cloud Project area on the OVH website. This first support level also includes access to knowledge bases, reference materials and training; anything that can help to prototype ideas quickly.

BUILD – Not only infrastructure tools, but also support from architects, contact with financial institutions and logistical help will all contribute to bringing the selected projects quickly into fruition. Local organisations in direct contact with the candidates will help to select projects at this stage. Outside France, OVH subsidiaries will also be involved in selecting projects in Madrid, Montreal, San Francisco, Milan and Wroclaw, and some projects may be physically hosted in OVH offices and/or the offices of OVH partners involved in the programme.

MARKET – The aim of the third stage is to send new ideas into orbit and speed up business development. The selected candidates will be given access to the OVH Marketplace. This will help them to boost their visibility among the group’s 900,000 customers worldwide. They could also benefit from digital marketing expertise and other forms of support. OVH wants to afford its entire ecosystem to candidates.

Open to all, with a focus on IoT

“Innovation applies to all economic sectors. All areas of technology are eligible for the Digital Launch Pad programme," explained OVH CEO Laurent Allard. All ideas will be considered, without limits or restrictions. There will be a strong focus on IoT-oriented projects. They will receive special funding from the 1 Million Euros for 100 Projects programme. Lastly, Intel and OVH will help three organisations to realise their ideas with the Big Data Challenge."
